Engagement sessions are a slow, intentional way to celebrate your love and the season you’re in together. Many of my wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session, giving us the chance to connect, get comfortable, and create something meaningful before the big day. Each session includes a thoughtfully curated concept, location suggestions, and a what-to-wear guide so everything feels effortless, natural, and true to you.

1. Do you travel?

You bet! I travel within Ontario for a charge of $20 per hour outside of home base (Strathroy!)...

I also LOVE to travel internationally and see new places, so I offer significant discounts for out of country services!

2. Do you help with planning AND POSES?

Absolutely! I’m so awkward behind the camera myself, so my main goal during a session is helping you feel comfortable and make the photos feel effortless. With over 7 years working as a portrait photographer, I’ve got some great tricks up my sleeve to help with poses, so no need to stress! I also offer custom mood boards and concept planning for couples and engagement sessions, as well as a "what to wear guide" so you're as prepared as possible for your session!

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Sessions may be rescheduled at no cost with at least 48 hours’ notice. The same flexibility applies if we need to postpone due to rain or extreme weather.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, and the session will need to be rebooked with a new deposit.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

I deliver all the edited photos in a private, password protected digital gallery , right to your inbox! My clients also get full permission to print their photos wherever and as often as they’d like, and can choose to order prints, albums, etc. directly through their gallery from my preferred vendor!

5. Do you RECOMMEND A SECOND SHOOTER?

Absolutely - I have a great lineup of second shooters available for an extra fee to help capture other angles and missed moments during your special day. As much as we try, wedding photographers can't be everywhere at once, so having a second shooter allows us to cover every feeling and fleeting moment of your wedding so you get to relive the day over and over again.

6. DO YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED VENDORS?

Yes! After working in the industry for so long, I've gotten to know some pretty awesome people. From venues to florals, hair, makeup, DJ's, videographers and more, I'd be more than happy to connect you with these great vendors to help make your day extra special!

7. Can we meet before the session?

Please! I suggest a zoom meeting or coffee date with all my couples before we book and sign the contract. It's a great time to answer any questions you may have, and also to make sure that we're a good fit to work together. I also offer complimentary engagement sessions with all of my wedding packages, which is a perfect opportunity to meet before the wedding day and shake off any camera nerves!

8. How long UNTIL I receive the final photos?

My turnaround for editing is 3-6 weeks, depending on session type and season. Some packages also include a "sneak peek" gallery of highlights from your session that is delivered within 72 hours.
